After our girl, "Lady", delivered a beautiful litter of chocolate & white puppies, our web site featured a new photo of them each day for eight weeks.  I've whittled those daily photos down to my 23 favorites, and present them to your here in our Puppy Picture Hall Of Fame!  Due to the large number of photos, I've broken them up over two pages.  Even still, these pages will be a bit slow to load...  so be patient!  Once you've seen them all, vote for your favorite!  Here they are...  the cutest of the cute Cocker puppy photos...  starting with the most recent photos first.

All seven puppies on a bench

So that they would be as grown up as possible, I waited until the day before the first puppy was scheduled to leave before attempting this shot.  Actually getting seven puppies to all sit still and face forward at the same time was quite a trick!

Getting this picture was actually much easier than I thought it would be.  Oreo was very mellow, and was happy to sit wherever we placed him.  He only knocked one ball off of the pile, and it fell out of the view of the camera.

This guy was the pick of the litter, and I loved photographing him.  I constantly had to remind myself to take photos of the OTHER dogs!

To get my digital camera to add some depth of field, I stood back and zoomed in for this shot.

Lil Lady with purple ice plant

Photographed from this angle, she has such an interesting look with the brown head on the white body.  Down the page a bit, there's a full body shot of her from the side, and you might not even think it's the same dog.

The puppies with their dad

Jake was SO good with his puppies.  You can see where they got their good looks, and their mellow temperament, too.

Two puppies napping

They do this a lot, and it's the easiest Cocker Spaniel shot to take since they are not moving!  Whenever I was totally without fresh ideas for a new picture, I would just default to taking a shot of them sleeping.

Wipe your paws

It took us about a dozen attempts before we finally got this picture right!  Mrs. Zim was just out of the view of the camera, constantly putting the puppy back on the doormat.  He kept wanting to come to us.

Remember that photo where she is just a brown head on a white body?  Now you get a totally different perspective.  And check out those beautiful blue eyes!

What a doll!  You gotta love that face.

You can see we are getting in to the older photos now...  she looks so young here.

Three puppies in a basket
Three puppies in a basket
The truth is that there were actually four puppies in that basket.  The fourth one was in the back, and not looking at the camera, so I used a few digital tricks to erase him from the photo.

That's only the first 12 pictures in the Hall Of Fame...  click here to see the remaining 11 photos.  After you've seen them all, vote for your favorite!
