Our Sept.2005 |
|
Here are pictures from the Fall 2005 Pupapalooza... which was held at the beach at Port San Luis on Saturday, September 17th. In case you don't know what Pupapalooza is... it's a combination of a Puppy Reunion for some of the dogs we've bred, and a big social event for some of the Cocker Spaniel fanatics we've met along the way.
Here are a few pictures, taken by some of the people
who were there...

This was truly a puppy reunion. Abby and a few of her pups.

We had more than a parti party... the solids were represented, too.
The parti with the eye patch is Molly, from our November litter.

One of the prettiest dogs there... this is
Lexi.

Bailey's owner, Sheila - always had a smile on her face!

There were several Molly's there. I think this is the buff Molly.

Everyone pitched in a got us two really nice gifts... including this Cocker Spaniel wind chime.
The other was a gigantic gift certificate to our favorite restaurant.
It'll be fun to ignore the menu prices next time.

All the dogs got lots of exercise.

That's me with Kellyn and Abby.
Looks like I was wearing a bad toupee... but it was just a little windy.

Sharon Puett was very excited about meeting Lexi, after seeing pictures of her
in our forum.

A beautiful day... good friends... lots of Cockers... no
worries.
This is Pupapalooza.

After we finished at the beach, everyone was invited to come over to our house
and meet Morgan's puppies.
In this picture, Ed Puett learns why you never let a 7 week old puppy get too
close to your ear!

Want to join us for the next Pupapalooza? Check our forum for information about when we plan to get together again. Usually, it's whenever we have a litter of puppies, and they've reached 8 weeks of age.
Pupapalooza began as a reunion of our past puppies... but you don't have to be a Zim family puppy to be able to attend. We had 30 - 35 Cockers attend the latest Pupapalooza... and probably only half of them were ones we had bred. If you're wondering why we don't know exactly how many dogs were there... just imagine trying to count heads on the beach with everyone running around and having a good time!
