Tomorrow is our 39th wedding anniversary! We were SO young when we married - just 21 years old. In the 39 years since then we have had two amazing children that brought us two amazing children-in-laws and an amazing granddaughter that lights up the world and (yes....knock wood) will one day bring so much to that world. We have had joys that gladdened our hearts and sorrows that broke them. We have had laughs that made us cry and tears that nearly drowned up. We had arguements (some that could have been called barn burners) and fun times that balanced them out. We have had dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats and mice and several other critters whom we still remember by name along with their own stories. We had disappointments that almost destroyed us and unexpected pleasures that astounded us. In other words....we had a life. And so I look back at 39 years and remember when 39 years ago tomorrow we danced to:
