cWish me lucks I am going to attack Aussi with the clippers. Today is the day Aussi gets a shorter hair cut or nekid (depending on how I do ). Hopefully by the time i'm done he will be much more comfortable, and if it looks bad its just fur it will grow back and I won't have spent $50 for someone else to screw it up :tg

Kathy, I'm sure you'll do well. I bought clippers last February and tried them on Charlie for the first time last Thursday to clean up his head/face. I've always been scared because Charlie is kind of nervous and moves a lot, I didn't want to screw up. But he did well and I was able to do what I wanted except his neck and chest but I can do it another day.

Let us know how you did!

It took me 2 hrs just to do his head and face I still need to tidy up his ears and blend in with his neck and chest a lil better. He was pretty jumpy when I went any where near his ears. He had lots of breaks. His head looks sooo small now :OMY I'm going to try and finish this today, I will post pics tomorrow of before and afters. Not bad for a first attempt but to be honest Aussi is an incredibly hairy wiggly little bugger I was definetly not paying my groomer enough to deal with his nonsense. Either that or I am a complete push over for that face and he knows it :wnk

I have to give Aussi credit he was supper patient letting me brush him out for hours while he lay on the table in the sun. I wish I could have done a better job n cleaned up his ears better but he was way too jumpy and I didn't want to hurt him. It will do until he can get to "the spa" and have a good cut.

And of course like the lil bugger boy that he is as soon as I let him go to play he rolled in the dirt under the maple tree
