Gertie the day before we put her down, in her favorite spot:

And Gertie a couple of years ago. That is my daughter's beanbag chair, which she and Gertie had many battles over, usually resulting in Gertie's victory. :lol2

I discovered last night that most of my pictures of her are either sleeping or the side of her head or her butt. Apparently she was camera shy.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Gertie was beautiful and is now at the bridge with all of our pets who have gone before us. Godspeed, little one.

Rose, I am so sorry about Gertie. They are never with us long enough. She is at the Bridge now with a huge welcoming committee of this forum's babies that have passed.

I'm so very sorry about your sweet Gertie. She was a beautiful girl. You have my deepest sympathy. I'm praying that God will comfort you at this difficult time. She's at the Rainbow Bridge well, and happy, and playing with all of our other pups that have gone ahead. My Bonnie girl is there, too. It's been four years. Funny thing - we just never stop loving them and they are always deep in our hearts. God bless. :hp
