I follow Dr Dodds recommendations, except my breeder gives the first shots at 8 weeks, so for my crew I have done 8, 12, 16 weeks the DHLPP(vet did not have plain distemper/parvo, and I decided I wanted that intiial core), rabies at about 22-24 weeks. The biggest advice I could give you is to space out the vaccines, and never give the DHLPP together with the rabies vaccine-I think this is the main thing behind IMHA cases, it may not cause it as a puppy, but later in life something triggers the immune system screwup-after all, what do vaccinations do-they affect the immune system.
