This is incredible. This man takes his 16 dogs out for a bike ride and swim in the river every day. Look how well trained they are and how much they love him. I was especially impressed with how they stay behind him until he says it's OK to cross the busy street.

Now THAT is what you'd call a pack leader. Awesome share. I was so impressed at how they completely ignored the aggressive barking dog.

I would say they are a sight hound, but I don't know which one.

Thanks for that video, it was great.

As for what breed of dog they are, I have little doubt that they are true Huskies. Husky being the generic name used for any dog which is bred for speed and endurance in dog sledding, usually with complete disregard for any kennel club designation. While a team of sled dogs may be made up of "purebred" AKC recognized dogs, they might just as well, if not more likely, be made up of "mutts" bred by the owner. Mushers don't really care about kennel club designations, what they care about is speed and endurance on the ice.

Back about 10 years ago I visited the kennels of a German immigrant to the Yukon. At that time, he was adding Pointer blood into his husky dogs due to global warming needing dogs with lighter coats to prevent overheating on the run.
