Smokey has been adopted by Angel Lewis and is going to be transported from Columbia, SC to Pittsuburgh, PA some time in the next month on a Saturday. If you are near I-77 or I-79 and would like to help transport Smokey in NC, VA, WV, or PA, please email me at bonnie_barte@yahoo.com.

Smokey is a three year old black cocker spaniel who is neutered, current on vaccines, great temperament, and loves to ride in the car. He will be sent with a copy of his vet records and a health certificate. Smokey is being adopted from Life's Little Paws Cocker Spaniel Rescue in New England and has been fostered by me in Columbia, SC for several months.

Smokey had to have his left eye removed but has recovered and is in good health.

Just so everyone knows, I can meet in Washington Pa which is right where I79 and Rt19 is. I am 15 mins from Rt19 so we can shoot down 19 to meet near I79.

There are a lot of places we can pick to meet in Washington Pa so we can be the final leg. Any weekend is great for us since we work evening hours. So sat or a sun is fine for us.

No we are stuck. We need at least 1 leg from Va/Nc border to Berkley Wva. We can drive to Charelston Wva. But if have to be we will drive all the way to Va/Nc border.

We are looking next weekend.

I'll post this on the agilitycocker yahoo group. You never know when someone is going that way.

Sandy sent me an email about this, and I forwarded it on to Donna Hawk & Kim Massey to see if
they can help with the Transport. :bg

Unfortunately, it is hard to get people to transport in this area because it is very rural. We are still missing some one from around Galax, VA to Beckley, WV and this is contigent on one person being able to help 10/16/10- I am waiting to hear back. If not, we may have to move the transport until that leg is filled.

Smokey is still doing great. He has been with me since April or May so he isn't in danger and is welcome to stay until this gets worked out. Thanks.
