I looked several pages back, and couldn't find anything on this. (But I might just be very unobservant.)

How often do you bathe your doggies? I use an oatmeal shampoo and sulphur shampoo, and generally his skin seems pretty calm a while after a bath. He loves outside alot, and has bad skin, so he gets yucky pretty fast. I'm just afraid of getting him too dry. I'm just curious how often you guys give baths.

Not unobservant, I just posted in a different section! viewtopic.php?f=35&t=6903
I bathe every weekend, I put both of my boys in the utility sink at the same time, spray them with an attachable hose that I got at petco, and shampoo and condition with pet edge brand shampoo and conditioner. (Although I don't know the name, it's bright orange, and smells wonderful.) Since I jut put Indy (my adult) in a puppy cut for the summer, I wil not be blow drying. I always brush them through to make sure they don't have any mats before I bathe them. Good luck! :th-up

Once a week, typically on Fridays so she's all fresh and clean for going places over the weekend.

Trim whatever needs trimmed.. Right now, all she needs is a muzzle trim and she'll be fine. Shampoo twice, then coat handler conditioner, then blow dry while brushing constantly. Treat her ears, check her glands, toenails, and a little spritz of perfume for the road.

*dances*

Okay, I was afraid of my every other week bath. Cause, I'd love to give him more baths. ...He wouldn't, but I certainly would.

I want to get him a conditioner, someone threw out the end of my bottle before I could write down what I had. :/ Might give him a bath tomorrow, then take him to the petstore for some. (And new razor, nnnng. Might take him for a trim somewhere.)

I think it depends on their skin.. Our vet told me that bathing Kallie once a week was too much for her so we do every other week. Also we love the Earthbath products!!! Really gentle but effective :) Hope that helps!

I'm probably gonna keep up every other week unless he's REALLY filthy, or I'm taking him somewhere.

King Chicken Legs got his bath today. He seemed really AHHH~ afterwards and is nice and fluffy. I keep brushing him, and then he shakes all, nope, I like it this way. (The fur is still on his head for now. I personally like it that way, but I think he's gonna be bald soon. I brush it back or to the sides and he's all, NOPE. EVERYWHERE!!)
I've been using sulfodene on him again, and he's been so much better. And he doesn't have a silly smell afterwards, he just smells clean, and I like that.

I cleaned my muttpuppy first, and the water was pretty nice. Then I put him in, and SUDDEN MURKINESS. He's like a sponge. An adorable. barky sponge. Then she ran into the pool with him all, it's okay YanYan, I just did this too! :D

I bathe every weekend. I just feel if the dog is going to be in my bed, he/she needs to be clean. I use a shampoo and conditioner called Fresh and Clean and I like the way you can rub out the tangles with the conditioner in their fur. I just comb them out when wet with the conditioner still in and then rinse. It is easy to brush and blow out. I think the secret is consistency and routine.
