Hi All,
Rosey and I did agility today with mixed results. The day started with Rosey being carried off of her JWW run – she wouldn’t do the weaves even when Mom gave her a second chance . After getting a time-out in her covered crate, and no post-run treat, Rosey decided to make amends on the standard course. She q’d and earned 12 MACH points . That brings her up to 722 points – only 28 points to go. Here is Rosey’s redemption run:

When I ran that standard course, I dropped the bar as I was coming out of the tunnel , but I did Q on the jumpers course and earned 6 MACH points . I think my MACH points total 167. Here is the jumpers run: http://youtu.be/subMxvxTXMc

We can’t do agility again until March 11/12 because of other commitments. Depending on how Rosey does that weekend, Mom will be figuring out which trials to go to in April when Rosey might actually, finally, earn the MACH title.

Solo really jumps high. At times it seemed like he was flying over the bars and they could have been two feet higher and you wouldnt even know.

Awesome!! Awesome!! Awesome!! You have no idea how much I enjoy watching you three!!! And listening to the sirens in the background when Rosey was doing her run.. oh my goodness!! And she stayed so focus!!

Mom said she didn't even know there were sirens until she listened to the video. There is a fire station right next door to the agility site. There are sirens during most trials, but these were more intense and lasted longer than most of the sirens.

That was wonderful! I also can't believe she tuned out those sirens! Chessie would probably have stopped to howl!

Great runs! Wow, Big-Sis Rosey, you are soooo close! Hopefully we'll get to celebrate your MACH very soon. A 3 day trial or more would be great.

I love watching your videos! And I was so impressed by how focused Rosie was, even with those sirens blaring...Gromit started barking at my IPad while I was watching that video, and I didn't have the volume very loud. I can't imagine how loud it must have been in person.

Wow, I'm just now getting to watch your videos, Solo. They/you are GREAT!! Rosie does have great concentration. Glad you didn't have to ignore those sirens during your turn. (And I don't mean you couldn't, it's just nice you didn't have to.) I think both you and your sissy did wonderful!! I really liked the placement of the camera man, as those videos were fabulous.

Are you performing this weekend?

I am going tracking on Sunday at Prado Park. We just got back from practicing. I am exhausted. I don't know why Rosey got to go to a nice flat grassland park for her tracking test and I have to go to the rough/hilly/brushy park . Mom knows that this area is much harder to track in than what Rosey had so we don't have real high hopes for the test. Plus, I have been unable to find the corners on about 80% of my practice tracks . Also, I take so long to get going from the start flag (I'm off sniffing the entire area) that Mom is concerned we will get whistled off (which means we fail) before I even get 20 yards out.
