Hi,
It is Louie here. :cool

My sister Cherry has been doing those traditional obedience where mommy cannot talk to her for a while. Although she could heel very well, every time she found a new way to NQ herself. :gig

In any case, I heard that she finally earned her first Q in Novice Obedience today even though mommy said she heeled like sh*t today. I was staying home with Papa because I have sprained my leg.

Cherry also got a fourth place ribbon in Rally Advanced this morning and I heard that somebody IP-ed one of the station. :gig So tomorrow, the little imp will have as many titles as I do. And she might have one more than I do on Monday. Well, I hope I stay retired.

:wv Hi Louie,

Bummer about the sprained leg -- I hope you were doing something incredibly fun when it happened.

Congrats to Cherry -- that traditional obedience is tough. And my Mom can sympathize about sh** heeling -- I do that a lot.

Tomorrow, we get to try doing agility again. Weather might not be cooperating and Mom isn't going to risk any of us getting injured on wet equipment.

Good luck to your Mom and Cherry tomorrow.

Oh you young dogs . . . keep up the sh*t heeling, it helped me get all retired and stuff!

Way to go Cherry, but if you keep up like this, they only end up expecting more and more from you!

Hi all,
It is Louie here again. :cool

I was actually at ring side watching Rally Advanced today. Daddy was going to take me to the emergency vet because I apparently had a bad reaction to the pain meds for my sprained leg or simply the chicken that I had yesterday night.

Mommy was more worried about me than showing Cherry Pie. But the lucky little imp got 3rd place even though it was probably her worst ever showing in any show (including her NQ's in Novice and BN earlier). Well, because of the snow, only 6 dogs showed up for her class. But a Q is a Q and a title is a title. Miss Cherry Rose Rowlett now has her Rally Advanced title.

Then I had to go to the vet in Tacoma and they found that my alt level is bit high. Need to be off the pain meds. Will be on cottage cheese and rice diet for the next week and will go to a regular vet for recheck this week.

Meanwhile, the little imp was one of the six dogs (she was sixth) to qualified in the Novice Obedience out of a class of 13. She has her second leg towards her CD now.

Although Cherry Pie is entered tomorrow in the show, I doubt if mommy is going to brave the snow again. So the earliest that Cherry Pie can finish her title will be at Rose City. And she will be joined by Lucky Howard (her true cousin who shares the same grand daddy) in the ring. AFAIK, she heeled like sh** again today, which is kind of uncharacteristic for the little imp.

Off to begging for food now.

Louie :cool

PS I injured my leg getting into that pet backpack that mommy got. I used to go to work with her until they move to this new high rise bldg where dogs cannot take the people elevator. Mommy does not want me to walk the stairs and got a backpack to carry me. Ironically, I injured myself climbing into one. :roll

Thanks for the report Louie. But I got a :?: for you -- What is snow :dk ? And why does it prevent you from going to shows?

Give the lit' Imp our congratulations. Getting placements in obedience at an all-breed trial is a big accomplishment. Finishing a title with the Howard gang sounds like fun -- that could be a big party :th-up .

And a pet backpack? Your Mom must be very strong (or you are really skinny) to be able to walk up stairs while carrying you. Hope your leg heals fast!

Gotta go -- Mom is laying a small track for me in the park. We were too tired to do a track in the big park after agility yesterday.

Hey Solo :cool ,
Snow is the stuff that is like ice-cream, but not sweet. It falls from the sky and sticks to the ground. It is fun jumping on it and eating it. But you have to watch out for the brown snow and yellow snow. Our mommy will be very mad if we try those.

And sometimes, the snow stuff turns into black popsicles. It is very hard to drive on black popsicles. Daddy's SUV was sliding when we drove home from Day 2 of Puyallup.

So as predicted, Little Imp did not go to Day 3 of Puyallup because of black popsicles. But then mommy took a taxi with the Little Imp to join Auntie Candace at her house. Auntie Candace drove them down to Portland with a few other show dogs for the Rose City shows.

I heard that the Little Imp got a CD down at Rose City. Do you mean those shinny round things? I think you have one of those too.

As for me, I have lost some weight recently. But normally I weigh about 25-27lbs. I am eating quite a lot recently as I need to be muscular again. Hey, I wonder why mommy still calls me FBL when I am definitely not fat any more. Maybe F stands for fluffy.
