Woody is a bit OCD and afraid of everything. I know that's not too unusual in cockers but I think he is extreme. When he started refusing to go outside on his own I started taking him out, then he would just tremble and cower , it reached the point he actually bit me when I reached for his collar.

After having him checked for medical reasons, the vet suggested trying Ltheanine. This is a all natural extract from green tea leaves. After two weeks on this he is now going out on his own again! I think he is less anxious in general, although he still won't drink from watering bottle.

I don't think it was coincidence that he suddenly started going out after I started him on it. Anyone with anxiety problems should try this.

Do you know if we can use the one for people or it needs to be the one for pets? My brittany really needs some help riding in the car. Thanks.

I started with the Composure liquid through Pet meds. It is not pure and is a bit messy, but it is working. However after some research have found the pure Ltheanine in several health food stores. the capsules I bought are 200 mg. but I open them and he gets a quarter or approx 50 mg. I give it to him morn and eve, sprinkled on his pumpkin. It is also online in a powder.

Everything I have read says this has no side effects , but am firmly convinced he has improved.
