Well, my great grandma died today.....ugh.....really have no words for this right now.
This means I'll be flying to Indiana sometime soon. :sad

We've had three family deaths in 2011. :cry

I am so sorry. We too have had a tough year with lost loved ones. I am ready to be done with 2011. As they say,it gets better. I'm sending you my good wishes!! Hug your babies, it helps. :hp

Crazy storms rolling in right now!

Song is one of my favorites, written and sung by Josh Via. Who REALLY needs our prayers right now.
Long story short: He's trying to adopt a baby from Uganda who has been in the orphanage since she was 9 months old (She's now 3)
and he was going to bring her home this weekend....well, turns up she can't get her VISA because there was some trouble with the paperwork
early on in the adoption that they were just made aware of. Their ENTIRE family has been in Uganda for like 5 weeks now...(Including Josh's EXPECTANT Wife, and their other 3 kids) It could be months if not a year (or more) IF she is even allowed to be part of their family. They've been trying SO hard for Months and Months, to get this baby home...Ugh...Waiting game isn't fun. :hp

Also many thanks to the compliments on my teeth! I'm pretty excited about them! :raz

Also huge Prayers for a certain forum member who's a regular poster on this thread. :hp

I've been praying for you every night, just so you know!

Update on Josh: has made it final that he will not leave Uganda without his baby. Tasha, his wife, will be flying back soon.
I'm not really sure what all they're going to do at this point.....been praying...

And also continued prayers for the forum members here... :hp

Emily,

1) love the stairs, it looks very inviting to guests.

2) Bacon went to his new mommy last Friday. She loves him. He has a new herringbone collar and a red sweater. She sleeps next to her granddaughters when they spend the night with grammy.

3) beautiful smile, mostly because of how beautiful you have become. You are stunning my dear. I hope you always smile from your heart.

Em, I love those stairs, they are very elegant. And also beautiful teeth. Wear the braces was very worth it. Tonight here the dogs got out through the side door of the garage and were playing on the hillside above the driveway in the ice coated grace. They love the frigid weather...they know mom doesn't so they got to play, and I got to sit in a lawn chair in the cold, til they got tired and wanted to come in....I think that makes me a cocker mom...: :love

My dad, step mom, siblings, and dogs left last friday to go to my great grandma's funeral in Indiana. ( I stayed home because I had school work
and dental appointments, etc) On the way there, they dropped the dogs off in WV at my other grandma's house. They've been in Indiana until earlier this morning, but are now back in WV. My mom drove me to WV this afternoon, so the family is re-united. :paw

We're just waiting for the rest of my family to arrive from New Jersey / New York. Their estimated time of arrival is 2:00am. :shock:

Going to be an INTERESTING holiday! Hope everyone has a great thanksgiving!

How lucky am I. How blessed I am. There is so much others may see as "lacking" in my life but for all I have, I give thanks. So many of you, my friends, my support, are remembered as I count my blessings and celebrate what is. And I am humbled by what I have because so many have so much less. How could I not be grateful?
