My son, Christian, and 7 other co-workers have been kayaking in Canada the past week.

They are leaving Quebec in a van towing a trailer of kayaks today and hope to get as far as possible before stopping to rest tonight. They hope to complete their journey to Maryland as soon as they can tomorrow, hopefully before the worst part of the storm reaches us. This has me pretty nervous. Please keep them in your prayers for safe travels and that they have the wisdom to stop and ride out the storm if necessary.

Thank you forum friends.

You got it, Jackie. That storm sounds really nasty and I hope they are nicely tucked away before it gets bad.

Jackie, I'll be praying for Christian and his friends as they drive back to Maryland - prayers that they will drive safely and not try to "rush the trip" in order to make it before the storm worsens, and also for God's hedge of protection around them. Prayers for you, too, Jackie, as you wait for their safe return. :hp As the mother of boys, I, too, used to ask for prayer for them in their earlier years.

Thank you, Stephen, for providing an update while I was out of power. They drove all night and got home earlier than I could have imagined.

Thank you for your prayers!
