Please keep my foster, Jade, in your prayers. She was admitted to the hospital yesterday with severe kidney failure. Despite the meds to help her, she has gone into end stage kidney failure. She has been with us for a year and a half and we consider her family.

I will pick her up at the hospital and take her to her rescue, where we will help her make her journey to the bridge this afternoon. Please pray that she is not too uncomfortable until that time and that she makes a peaceful journey to meet so many of our special friends who have gone before her.

Dogs live in the moment so you are family to her as well. I pray all will be peaceful for her.

I'm sorry....it doesn't matter if they are "ours" or not - in truth they are all "ours". I have come to realize how much all of us here feel for each other's pups, pets, fosters, keepers. Go easily Jade and look for Miss Maxine.

Jan, you are right; just like Vickie says. I have grieved for so many forum dogs and rushed to check the forum in the morning to see how sick ones are doing.

Jade moved into our home and became a part of our family, absolutely no doubt about it. She was loved like she had never been loved before she was rescued. After time with us, she also learned to give love in return :hp

She became my third little shadow. I am so sad and I miss her so much.
