I just wanted to share an inexpensive idea I got for a grooming table. I know most tables are $100 or more from what I have seen on the internet. So I was browsing the Ikea website looking for a small desk for my sewing machine when I saw a table that would make a good grooming table for only $20! I did the math and figured I could buy a grooming arm with a clamp to put on it and a rubber bathmat to prevent slipping. The total comes out to less than $50!!! I just wanted to share for those people on a budget that this may be a great alternative to the more expensive grooming tables. Also, the legs come off easily enough to store it when not in use for those who were wondering. Here's a link to the table I bought. I'll take a picture of the whole setup once I get the grooming arm in. I just couldn't wait to share!

You might be able to use a clamp on swing arm on a card table if you use a piece of wood to shim it,a piece of 2x4 to make it thicker at the edge, butt it up again the edge that hangs down...should work.It would give the clamp more to hold on to. I've used Walmart's folding plastic tables, they have two sizes,6 ft and 4 ft. and a smaller one, think it's 2-3 ft...they fold up for quick easy storage..

Cool idea! My Grooming table was like $120 :bang But, it does fold up which makes things easy.

I ordered the grooming arm last week and am expecting it to be delivered on Monday. Hopefully I'll have a pic Monday PM.
