For those attending Nationals this summer, it might be wise to check on your lodging arrangements and the facilities used for the event. Prayers to all those in the area.

"Springfield, Monson, Westfield and seven other towns -- Agawam, Charlton, Oxford, Palmer, Sturbridge, West Springfield and Wilbraham -- reported severe damage, said Massachusetts State Police Sgt. Michael Popovics."

Just heard an update on Sturbridge Ma, mostly a lot of tree damage. All Hotels/Motels seem to be fine, said power should be restored soon. No news on the campgrounds yet, I do know one in Brimfield was hit though.

Thanks, Stephen.

I just called the hotel to find out that there is no damage in the immediate vicinity although some access roads are still closed off. They expect that will be cleared in plenty of time.

I understand that the "Days Inn" was damaged, so thank God our reservations weren't at that hotel. :th-up
