I just found out tonight that my grandmother was admited to the hospital twice over the holidays. Apparently, she has ''aortic aneurysm''. She will have to travel 160 miles on January 4th to get to a bigger hospital, the doctors want to do more testing before deciding if they will operate or not. My grandmother is 84 years old but I don't want to lose her yet :sad

Could you please pray for her?

Praying for your Grandma, Vicky. Grandma's are so special and I was blessed with two wonderful Grandma's. Eighty four years old just isn't that old anymore and hopefully and prayerfully Grandma will be just fine. The Lord is the Great Physician. Hugs to you, Vicky.

Thank you for the prayers everyone.

We're all packed up and ready to go. We are visiting my parents this weekend for New Year and my birthday (Sunday) AND to visit my Grandmother. I am working until noon and we will leave around 1:30 pm. It is a 300 miles drive :shock:

I will try to sleep in the car. This was a long week and I am tired. I hope my Grandmother will feel better when I see her, I am not used to seeing her sick.

I bet Charlie will be happy to visit my parents again, he loved it last time we were there.

Oh thanks for asking! And more important: thanks to everyone for the prayers.

I just talk to my mother tonight for an update on my grandmother. She got very good news from the doctors: her aneurysm stayed the same size so they don't need to operate yet. They will continue to monitor her on a regular basis but no surgery for now, that's very good. My mom also said my grandmother seemed a lot more calm today when she visited her (my grandmother still lives by herself in her own house). The good news probably calmed her down.

I hope it stays like this for a long time!
