Ok we just got a cocker puppy about a month ago hes 7 months and he behaves really well while bathing him but when it comes to the blow dryer he HATES it. He does fairly well when we dry his body and tolerates us drying the ears without putting to much of a fight but when we go any where near his face with the blow dryer on he goes crazy he starts jumping and wiggling so we wont go near his face. What i have done for now is just try and get his face dry really really good with the towel but its never completley dry. Since its winter time now we dont want him gettin sick or anything becuase of his wet face and we have to take him out frequently be cuase he is still being housetrained.
Is there anything we can do to get rid of his fear of the blow dryer?

I dont really dry the face with the hair dryer. The fur is so short that by the time I'm done drying everything else the face is dry too so no need to put them through blowing it right in their face. If you absolutely need to try working up to it and rewarding with treats. Hold the treat out angled down and point the air down and towards (ish) you that way its not going right up their nose or in their ears which is what they really dont like. This is how I worked with Kirra.

(Kirra loves to be blow dried now but not all dogs will love it most dogs should learn to tolerate it though)

Put your hand over the eyes like a visor or very lightly, if you have to dry the face. I also do that when drying the top knot. I envy the fact your guy doesn't mind the bath! My girls are bad bad BAD

Same here, I never dry Jesse's face, it's always dry by the end everything else is done.
