I've been looking for a tag holder to easily transfer Gromit's tag from one collar to another. The few I've seen have either looked too big, or seemed to cost way too much. I stumbled upon the perfect solution today. It's called a Curvyman Cord Supervisor, and it's meant to be used to wind up the earphone cords for an Ipod or MP3 player. But it has this perfect little clip that opens at BOTH ENDS. I just detached the cord supervisor from the clip, and clipped Gromit's name tag to one end of the clip and then clipped the other end onto her collar. And the best part - it was only $2.99! I got the black one, but they also had ones with pink, purple, or blue clips. I've attached a few pictures so you can see what it looks like. I found it in Dick's Sporting Goods, but you can also order them online (Amazon - but remember to use the forum Amazon link :th-up ).

:TYou I shall look for them when I go out shopping today. It is a pain to switch collars because of the tags. Looks like the perfect solution !!!

Thanks for sharing Darra. I have ordered the Rubit clip for Charlie and I love it. But this could be another option. I wonder where they would sell this around here, I will look online. Thank you again!

I got one for Bailey online that I also love, it is metal so now worries about breaking and super simple!

Since I change his collar every month or so it makes it alot easier for sure.

For those that are looking for those that Darra posted,

They are called "S-Biners" by Nite-Ize, and you can get a 2 pack of them on ebay. The size those one's that are posted are size #0 ... they have them in size #1+ in metal which may be a nice option too.

They have metal and plastic...plastic would definitely light weight, but would it break easy? These are definitely an inexpensive way to go. I like the rubit alot, but would give these a try too for the price

Wow - that's even better than what I found! I basically ended up throwing away the cord-wrap part, and kept the s-biner. But for someone with multiple dogs, they could get two clips for $1.00 more (incl shipping) than I paid for one. Thanks for sharing!

I ordered them yesterday - for the price I can't go wrong !!! I thought the #1 might be a little large for Buffy.

I am forever finding my dogs' tags in the back yard where the ring has broken. I have now been using zipties to keep the tags on. Just slip it through all the tags and it also silences them from jingling. I zip it very tight and I really don't believe anything can get through. I think the tags that are coming off are wearing off at the circle and falling off from rubbing together, not catching on anything.
