I was in our local Costco today, and they now have two varieties of Nature's Domain Dry Kibble:
Salmon & Sweet Potato and Turkey & Sweet Potato.
Both are grain free, and 35 lb bag was approx $30 and $26, respectively.

Here is a link to the analysis for the Salmon & Sweet Potato:
http://www.dogfoodadvisor.com/dog-food- ... -dog-food/

They rated this as a 4 star kibble.

Our costco was giving out samples of the Salmon one a while back and I reluctantly took one. My dogs are very picky when it comes to kibble. They normally won't eat all of it so I didn't want to purchase a big bag. Well, I got in the car and they all started sniffing the sample bag and I opened it up. They ate it right out of the bag, which never happens with them. So, I purchased the big bag and for the most part, they eat it very well.

I am transitioning Lexi and Molly to the Natures Domain Salmon. It has been a battle. I bought the big bag thinking that it would be easy. They are currently on Natural Balance Duck/Potato. It is just so expensive that I thought I would try this. It has limited ingredients and is highly recommended. So, I am about halfway there on the switch and they are warming up to it. My German Shepherd and Australian Shepherd love it.

I wonder if the turkey would be good for dogs with allergy and stomach issues?

Considering i just paid $45 dollars for the 30lb bag of Natural Balance .... i'd love to switch to this (once we run out of the 30lb bag!)

I hope my costco has it.

Local in California, sorry.

I really want to try this kibble, but I'm afraid that Costco will discontinue the line once I get the dogs transitioned.
And there is the issue of the kibble possibly not being available in all areas.

Our Costco does not carry it but I am going to a different town this weekend and can check if their costco carries it

I found this on a blog by doing a Google search for Nature's Domain dog food.
This shows the stock number as #470974.
The blog is for a realtor in the Sacramento, CA area.
In my area this food was a bit more at $29.99 for 35 lbs.

Hope this helps!

It finally came available at our Costco's and I switched to it and am thrilled so far! The poop is better than it's been in a long time, and my itchy Pirate is not itching nearly as much. We were on Natural Balance for a while, and you could barely touch him without his back legs going like crazy. I'm thrilled with the food AND even more thrilled about the price.

I purchased the large bag of Salmon and Sweet Potato for Reese several weeks ago. Haven't tried it yet as we still have a ways to go to finish her big bag of Taste of the Wild. I'm anxious to see how Reese does with the Nature's Domain. Our Costco is in San Luis Obispo, CA.

I tried it and 2 of the 3 girls have had a bad time with it. I believe Windy and Annie didn't do good because they are use to lamb. I think if your using the Taste of the Wild food which is similar your fine. Windy got sick the next day. Now this AM Annie had the same reactions as Windy. I almost stayed home from work with her. Sorry but a bloodie stool sure scares me. They seem to be doing better.

Our Costco does not have this food yet. They do carry a lamb, rice, veggies that I purchased and have mixed with my Wellness. My dogs love it and Tucker has not done the best in the past with grain free. And half the price of Wellness has me sold.

The Costco in Anchorage has the Salmon, but not the turkey. I have all my dogs on it and everything is fine so far. They were on Natural Balance duck. I still cook half of their dinner.

I've now transitioned both of my cockers to the salmon variety. Polly needs to be fed grain-free due to allergies and The cost of Blue Buffalo at Petsmart was more that I wanted to keep spending so I was glad to find this less expensive alternative. She is doing fine on it and has very few of the crusty bumps she had on regular dog food. When I got her last year she had a huge (3") hot spot on her neck, an ear infection, and lots of these crusty bumps. The diet change to grain-free has made a world of difference to her. I bought my first bag from the Costco in Fairfield, CA in October while visiting a relative, but about the time we returned I heard that the store in Wilsonville, Oregon carries it now. Since Wilsonville is right on I-5 on my way from Salem to Portland to my Mom's house, I'll be able to pick it up when I need it.

I'm thinking about trying the Turkey. My girls hate the fish flavored food. I can't stand the smell of it myself

I have recentlyl decided to go with a brand similar to Nature's Domain (not a memebr at Cosco but comaprably as good) because it is "all ages" since, of course, before my older one wanted to eat all the puppy food. Both dogs also take a puppy mulit-vitamin. I am jkust super scared the puppy isn;t getting what he needs. he's only 3 months (breeder had him on Royal Canin) Would any of you be worried about that or am I being too particular?

I would have a 2 month old puppy on a good puppy food. I would try all lifes stages possibly at 6 months. That's just me though.

I use both. My German Shepherd and Australian Shepherd eat the Kirkland Lamb/Rice. They love it and do great on it. My sister feeds her very large breed mix the Kirklands chicken/rice. He was limping. They give him the gloucosine/chondrotin supplement also. He is no longer limping. Their vet wanted him fed the very expensive, grain as the first ingredient joint formula. She can not afford that. I talked her into trying the Costco Kirkland brand. They are thrilled with the results.

My cockers and Shih Tsu eat the Natures Domain Salmon/Sweet Potato.

I tried the lamb and rice, however, Tucker had horrible gas that never subsided so we changed back to Wellness Simple. I loved the price. I ended up giving the remainder of the 40 lb. bag to the local shelter.

We made the switch from Purina Puppy Chow and when I thought we had more Puppy Chow on hand to make the switch more gradual (only had 3-4 days of combining).. BUT, despite that Bell adapted just fine and LOVES her Salmon/Sweet Potato! IF she passes gas, it's far less frequent and not nearly as noticeable as when she was on Puppy Chow (awful gas!)

We live in the Boise area and our Costco carries it. We made the switch at about 5 months... I would have made it sooner had I known.
