I'm perusing the sites and am looking for the "perfect" Christmas Ornament to represent our newest addition. I'm finding that I'm being rather particular about the artistry - maybe too picky? I don't know... but thought maybe I'd ask those of you who have been in the Cocker industry for your best ideas and links. I've seen some perfect ornaments but they don't look like Bell - they look like yours! :wnk

Resin is fine as long as it looks like it was actually carved by someone who knows what a true Cocker looks like. :roll

I love blown glass ornaments, but I've found that they look a bit distorted.

I could be persuaded to go with a 'photo' ornament, but that seems too cliche', although that might be what I end up doing because I have some pretty little Pottery Barn frame ornaments on hand.

Can you see the dilemma I am facing and how analytical this process is for me - and why I needed help!?!

I've also been looking. I know they have some great dog ornaments at Rite Aid and walmart this year (Boston terrier, yorkie, ect.) but I've yet to find a Cocker one.

April:

Do you like this one?

Sandicast makes another buff one with a Santa hat. Just Google Sandicast cocker spaniel ornament and you'll find it. It's hard for me to tell from your avatar exactly what Bell's coloring is.

It's hard for me to tell, too! :lol2 The breeder said she'll get more red as she gets older. Some light she looks very red and others she looks more buff... ??

If you'd like a really personalized ornament there is an artist in nova scotia(canada) that makes ornaments, ear rings and pins from your dog's photo. Her name is Susan Sweet and she is from maitland. You can goggle her as well.

I knew I had an ornament that I wanted to show you. It came from Sandicast.com. I actually found it in a store in the mall in Tampa, Florida. I just love it. It looks just like my Toby. Here is a link but they don't have this ornament but they do have another one and have some nice figurines of different Cockers.

I want a B&T cocker ornament but they are difficult to find. I don't get that. I know Abby's markings with B&W and very little white on her face isn't easy, but B&T? :dk I like my cocker stuff to look like my girls or my Dud, at the bridge
