I have my mom's Featherweight 222K-what a great sewing machine! It is in nice condition, but it is for use, not show. I can't believe what these go for! They do not make them like they used to, that is for sure, my mom bought me a new Singer and it was junk-now that she does not sew anymore, the 222K is mine!

My name is Lina and I have a cocker spaniel named Abby. We're from Dallas,TX. Abby is a full bred one year old american cocker spaniel. She is the second cocker spaniel i have had. My first cocker spaniel passed away a year ago from " the silent killer" she was only three years old . So now, I am trying to create and capture all the memories possible with Abby. Having abby has been such a joy. She is such a loving dog that always wants to be petted and give sloppy kisses. Her hobbies are - Chasing anything that moves (even cars) lol

My name is Kim and I live in Dallas, Oregon (outside of Salem in the Willamette Valley). I have been lurking here and just finally joined today. I currently have 2 cockers, but I've been a cocker lover and owner for the last 25+years

Indy is a buff male, 5 years old. We adopted him almost 2 years ago from a rescue. The woman who ran the rescue was going to keep him but he didn't get along well in in the group with so many unstable dogs coming and going. All I know about him, was he came from a breeder in the Portland area as she lost all of his records in a move.

Polly is a chocolate and tan female with a freckled white blaze down her chest. She just turned 6. We adopted her last May from the owner who had had her since puppyhood, but had to give her up due to financial hardship.

I'm looking forward to being a part of this community.

HI! My name is Ryan and I've been visiting this site for a couple months now, and I thought it was time to introduce myself. I own a Black Cocker Spaniel named Dharma which is 8 months old( I love her to Death!!) and a yellow lab named Aimee of 5 years. Dharma has been so obedient and plan to work with her soon now that footballs over. Aimee will tag along with me to keep Dharma in check.

This was the first night that i brought her home at 8 weeks. She was so tired.

This was her first haircut at 8 months, her hair grows pretty quick. The groomer added a nice touch of thanksgiving ear ribbons, lol.



This was the day i brought here home, she was so good on the trip home.

This would be Aimee, she has quite the funny personality. I LOVE her.

Dharma & Aimee are adorable! We also have a Cocker and a Labrador, but our Labrador is turning 8 in January and Rudy is 14 months.

Good evening! I'm Amber! I'm 27 & married to a cool guy names Todd. We live in Maryland. I've had pets my whole life & my first one was a "mutt" I named "KiKi" given to us from a rescue when I was around 1 year old. She was a wonderful dog & had a lot of Cocker Spaniel in her mix..which started my love of Cocker & Cocker Mixes!

My loving little buddy is Biscuit!

We adopted Biscuit in June from "Oldies But Goodies" Cocker Spaniel rescue. They are an awesome group & we are SO lucky they took care of him until he found us.

Biscuit (previously named Buddy) is 10 years old & happens to be deaf but it's so not even relevant to us! Only time I am more aware of him not hearing is when we take extra caution on walks near roads. He weighs 28 lbs & gets around pretty darn great! His ears and eyes are an issue but with daily drops and cleanings they don't seem to bother him much. His left eye has little to no tear production but looks SO much better nowadays. We visited an ophthalmologist recently to rule out anything serious & much to my relief he is clear of any cataracts/glaucoma. I learn something funny & new about Mr.Biscuit all the time. He has little quirks & opinions about things such as wet grass, not being fed dinner at 9:40PM on the dot & closed doors.

People constantly ask why we would adopt a 10 year old dog? Or tell me how lucky HE is that we have him/spoil him/love him.
*I* am the lucky one. HE loves ME. My life is better because of Biscuit. I like to think his life is better with me too but the bottom line is this dog was with someone for 10 years. Then poof! In a shelter, then the rescue, then kenneled, then neutered, kenneled, fostered & finally with us. You would never guess his past by spending 5 minutes with him. He is loving, aloof, silly & just plain awesome.
My goal is to give him the best most loved, wonderful, happy, safe, comfortable life possible.

I lurked on this site for a long, long time and learned so much! I appreciate all the info & pictures everyone posts.

Next weekend I'm going to meet a foster in PA -another 10 year old deaf Cocker! Biscuit is coming with me to meet her and her foster family. We hope the following weekend they will approve us and bring her to our house for good!

Ryan - Dharma is a beauty. And the picture of Aimee...LOL! At first her picture appeared on my screen as this dignified lab standing in her yard...then I scrolled down and saw her sitting in the flower pot. I almost fell off the couch!

Amber - Thank you for adopting this special boy. Yea, most everyone here seems to love a smushy-smush face . And I hope you have some good news for us soon about a new sister for Biscuit, too.

Hi Everyone, my name is DeAnn and I had a very sweet female buff Cocker for 18 years. 2 years ago, I had to send her over the rainbow and did not know if I would every have another pet. Well, you all know, once you have a cocker that is all there is to it . Please see a photo of my Bailey below. He is my little shadow - follows me everywhere - i love him so much. He already knows how to fetch, is housetrained and the sweetest little angel. I am so glad I found this board

My Name is Linda, I'm new to the forum and a new Cocker Spaniel puppy owner. Our Cocker's name is Molly, full name,"Sweet Molly Malone". If you've ever been to Dublin, Ireland you'll see her famous namesake. Sweet Molly was born on October 2nd. We've had her just over a week now.

We also have a Yellow Lab, Miss Macey Grace, she'll be 3 years in January. I've always had labs this is my first Cocker Spaniel. I look forward to learning and sharing with other members of the forum.

Hi everyone, my name is Kathryn, but generally known as Kat, I'm 27, married and live in Australia, been a long time lurker and love this forum.

Currently have 2 ECS's, we lost my husbands heart dog to a paralysis tick 2 months ago while we were away on our honeymoon, we flew home on the news he'd been rushed to our vets, but we were too late ... RIP... PC - aka Prince Charming - you were our beautiful boy. Our girls - Princess & Cinderella are traumatised with his loss. Enough of the sad news !!
