I'm doing some comparison shopping of dryers and I'm looking at the two following:
Metro AFTD-2 Air Fore Commander 1.7 HP Dryer

And the B-Air Bear Power 2 HP Dryer

I've heard good things about the Metro brand here, and started leaning towards that brand. But I found the Bear in my search. It appears to have a higher power motor than the Metro. There also comments and reviews saying that it is much quieter than the Metro. And finally, it's $32 cheaper than the Metro. Humm....

Does anyone here have comments or experience with Bear dryers? Quieter would be a big selling point for me.

I used a metro at a DIY place and I can tell you IT COULD WAKE THE DEAD. I don't know about the Bear. I too have been looking at the Bear

I just bought the Bear, and I love it ! Izzy is not so fond of it . It is fairly quite but has lots of blowing power.

I just used my metro for the first time tonight and love, love, love it. Bailey barked at it at first, then he got use to it very fast and could care less. It actually was alot quieter than I expected but very powerful, he was dry within a few minutes. I got this one.
