That's a very good point Stephen. We lost a lot of amazingly good things that can never be replaced. But we have also shed the painful parts of our collective past as well. Lets hope the new beginning brings less drama than the past!

Well now, I have just discovered that I can not go back and refresh my brain. So, please excuse me if I repeat myself. I believe on my last (before the “crash”) goodnight post, I mentioned that we have found two fleas in two weeks. So, we spent today cleaning, washing the sofa, bed, etc. It’s OK, we got orders from Moonbeam’s Internist. He does not want Moonbeam stressed by fleas. Ever herd of such a thing, only two fleas? We all know that there have gotta be more?

JoAnne, Yes, I was racking my brain trying to think of who I knew that lived in that area. No word on any friends of foes being involved in the fire though.

Been thinking if I should go back to my old format or simplify my "Goodnight Friends" posts. What do you all think?

I'm so glad everything back up and running. Today I finally got the avatar done which I needed to do anyway so I could add my little Harley man. :happy

Anyway, Freyas back to normal! :YAY

I havent seen anymore toads either! :Clap

I think she passed her sickness on to me though. I was down for 3 days. I still feel drained of all my energy or desire to move but hopefully I'll be better tomorrow. I've been pet sitting for a friend and she has this toy poodle named Indiana Jones! Which is absolutely hilarious b/c he is scared of everything! :gig

But Noel adores him and they've been playing non-stop so I'm sure she's going to crash tomorrow when he leaves.
Harley is doing great although we are still having issues with the potty training. I think because he's older it's just going to take time. He's the most lovable soul :love

What a day! I'm doing three different jobs at work and I'm exhausted! Of course mid-moring the head of HR comes along and says to all of us "direct care" providers (a fancy term for the counselors, testers, and floor staff) they want to thank us and they gave each of us fleece blankets with the agency logo on it. It was actually nice but I kept thinking they must know we're fried if they're giving us blankies to hold onto!

Be that as it may - this is in remembrance of the Great Crash Of 2010 and sort of what was going on in my head as I stared at a note from Jim on my computer screen....

I performed at church this weekend, I was in a skit, and from the people I work for there (I guess you could say) they said I did great. I'm doing it again this weekend. :paw

I also had a lot of fun with 2 of my best friends. Then at school, there was a bit of drama and misunderstanding and I had to clear that up, so its all fine.

OK, I’ll spill it! I did not start posting to Stephen’s goodnight thread at the start. Since all is lost, I have no real idea, but somewhere along the way I started to get curious about how many people were actually reading this thread. So on March 13, 2010, I started taking a count. Now, this count is only for those of you that actually open the thread through the forum itself. Then, there are those (like myself) that opens the threads through my email notifications. Those that enter through the email’s do not add to the “views” count! I checked it out to be sure.

Anyway, March 13, 2010, there were 13,113 views. As of September 2, 2010, there were 27,531 views. I tried to keep the count going daily, but of course would get busy and forget occasionally. I had stopped (not deliberately) on Sept. 2nd (mostly because we were busy around here and I got lazy.)
So, that’s my story and I am sticking to it.

For a long time this thread was averaging around 50 views a day and at the end it was around 100 daily (give or take a few). This the only solid link that I have to remember…

Did anyone see Julie Hydro's post about how to "capture" our past? She posted an example for all to see! I just have not have had time to mess with it yet. Getting ready for v.a.c.a.t.i.o.n! Thanks Julie!

What do you think girls? Looks like Stephen and his “special guest" are having a great time. Are they needling each other or dreaming up schemes to surprise all of us?
