That's great news. I have no tips for you other than keeping her in a pen or another enclosure where there are no temptations.

I'm glad she's doing better. I had a dog that couldn't jump/use stairs after surgery for IVDD and it was a pain trying to keep him off.

We built a ramp for the steps that lead outdoors and indoors we either kept him confined to an ex-pen if we weren't there and if we were there we stayed on the floor with him and blocked off the furniture with the ex pens. After he healed up enough to use stairs again we got him little steps for the beds and couch and he began using those exclusively instead of jumping on his own accord.

Good luck with little Zoey.

My friend keeps lots of trays and silver foil on her sofas which seems to keep her dogs off.

Apparently Zoey has to avoid jumping and stairs forever.....as this is not the first time she injured her back. She is getting quite cranky about crate rest...growling at the cats too!
