This is what Charlie looks like in the morning after my fiancé gets out of bed. Charlie sneaks in his spot and lays next to me until I get up (or until he decides it's breakfast time...which seems to be earlier every morning)

This little dog has me wrapped around his little paw so tight, I'm not even embarassed to say it :chk

If it makes you feel any better, Max doesn't sleep with us (the cats claimed that long ago) but we do put him to bed every night with belly rubs and kisses on the head. If SO puts him to bed and does not follow the routine he whines until she comes back and does it.
