Phew, I'm glad that's over! George finally had to have a dental today, I've been thinking for a while now that his breath stinks and his teeth are dirty, but the vets have always said they are ok for his age. But at last our vet agreed it needed doing, so today he has had 3 premolars out. They shaved a little bit of his fluffy leg, alas, but it's not too obvious I guess. He was fine during the op, unlike silly boy Henry, who had a dental about 3 years back it must be, and decided not to breath while under. George was a good boy though, and was wide awake when I picked him up, ate his dinner as usual (I gave him a bit less, much to his disgust) and is now snoozing peacefully in the kitchen.

Good to hear that George is fine and did ok during his procedure. It's always scary for me to have a dental done - but I think it's better to have offending teeth removed than to have to deal with the consequences of them causing more harm.
