I see that most everyone here sleeps with there cockers , and know that they are cuddly by nature. Woody has to be under the covers and his head on the corner of a pillow. which I see a lot of you allow also. He has developed a habit of laying his cheek on our cheeks. Even if you have your back to him!
He will support himself on your shoulder with his neck on your neck just to reach your face. Last night he decieded to walk over the pillow to get to my face, and darn if he didn't his toenails tangled in my hair, much like a hairbrush! It is a little irritating at night, but have to admit it doesn 't bother me otherwise as it feels like a kiss (without that tongue) when we cuddle.

I have 3 cockers, and, all of them sleep with us. Two under the covers and one on top of the covers. We just love it!

That's so sweet! Both my dogs are in the bed every night. Bailey likes to be under the covers and Buddy prefers to lay on top of them by my head. I love the snuggles and warmth especially on these cold winter nights.

That sounds about right! The boys both like to sleep cheek to cheek with me, and they tend to alternate nights. Some nights I wake up and Theo has managed to force me into sleeping on a tiny corner of the pillow and sleeping with his whole body on the bulk of the pillow. Never have figured out how he does that without me waking up - I'm a light sleeper. One morning I woke up and I was basically wearing him as a hat. Gotta love Spaniels.

Yes my 5 month old puppy sleeps with us and has since he was 11 weeks old. I am married but he sleeps right next to me. Often times I wake up and we are nose to nose. He has only peed on my bed 1 time (last week) and that is because he was annoyed with my husband who kept tossing his toy off the bed that my pooch was playing with. I love having my puppy with me. I'm not a fan of the paw to the face a 4AM to tell me has to go out (which resulted in a poo accident on the bedroom floor this morning because my husband decided Rocky could wait 30 minutes while he went to the loo) but puppy and I sleep better and we are happy.

Max is not a good co-sleeper (we all move too much, him included) and when we try he ends up on his bed on the floor within the first hour. We only co-sleep when we're not at home otherwise he sleeps in his room with his own bed and plenty of room to move around.

Saydee starts out on the bottom of the bed. Then in the middle of the nite she taps me with her paw until I wake up and put her under the covers right by my head. I pretend I am asleep and watch her and she is so funny . She keeps hitting me until I wake up. Every Night!!!

I AM SOOOO GLAD WE ARE NOT ALONE WITH THE "WE OWN THE BED" THING, BUDDY DRAPES HIMSELF OVER MY BENT LEGS AND LEO HOGS HALF MY PILLOW. THEY BOTH LOVE TO CUDDLE. BY MORNING THEY ARE SPOONING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BED WITH A BACK AGAINST ONE OF US AND A LEG AND PAW DRAPED OVER THE OTHER! LEO SNORES AND BUDDY GROWLS IN HIS SLEEP! THEY BOTH DO THE RUNNING THING...... COCKERS ARE SO FUNNY!
