The name suits him. He's got such unique coloring, like you did it with a paintbrush! Beautiful!

Thank you, Cici. People on this forum are so kind!

I had visited the Barnes Institute in Philadelphia and was very taken by the Renoir paintings. When I got my puppy, it seemed like he needed a name that was a little more regal. So I called him Renoir.

It turns out that in one of Renoir's paintings, "The Luncheon of the Boating Party", there is a dog with very similar markings to Renoir. I have always loved that painting, so I feel like the name is very fitting.

People in Boston think the name is very funny. :lol3

Hey everyone! I am a newbie, sorta.. I was a part of the forum when I got my first cocker forever ago (holy cow, he's almost 10!) but time and life got away from me so I haven't been around much. So excited to be back!

My name is Laura. I have been married to my husband Kurt for almost three years, and we have two fur babies, and an actual human baby on the way! :hp :YAY I teach 3rd grade (yay, summer in 6.5 days!) and my husband is an athletic trainer at the high school. We are from the Dallas/FW metroplex, but are currently living in the middle of Texas.

We have two cockers:
Tucker, my blondie, who is 9... and Maverick- he's 7. Both completely different personalities and they are everything to us!

So excited to be back!

My name is Lisa. I am in Summit IL. For my birthday this year I got the Henry, the cocker spaniel I fell in love with. I visited him 2 times a day everyday for a week before my husband Jeff told me to go get him and bring him home. He has become the perfect addition to our family. We have also have a germen shepherd and a lab/pit mix, 2 cats, a turtle, fish, and I have 3 almost grown kids. Mia our shepherd is getting older but loves to play with Henry all day. Ramzy our lab/pit mix is a bit of a loner, he likes to be very lazy. The cats both also get along with Henry. Them being younger helps, because they are closer in age to Henry. Anyway, thanks to this site I have had so much help with any questions I had, usually someone has asked them already lol. This is Henrys picture, right after his first professional grooming. I got him cut real short the first time, now we are going with the "cocker spaniel" style though.

I introduced myself a while ago when I got my baby, Lily (black cocker spaniel). This past weekend, I brought home her sister, Hannah (buff cocker spaniel)! The two girls share a sire and are only 11 months apart in age. Any advice for someone who has never had two dogs before? So far they are getting along great!

I can't help with advice about having two... I haven't yet mastered having one. I promised Jennie a little brother or sister for her 5th birthday, so I have three years to get ready.

I just wanted to say that both your babies are beautiful! Hannah would get away with anything with me. That face! :love
