Here is a turkey recipe that also includes the use of popcorn as a stuffing---imagine that. When I found this recipe, I thought it was perfect for people (or dogs who think they're people) like me, who just are not sure how to tell when the turkey is thoroughly cooked but not dried out. Give this a try.

12-15 lb. turkey

1 cup melted butter

1 cup stuffing mix -- follow directions on the package(Pepperidge Farm is good) or use your family's recipe handed down from Grandma.

Add 1 cup uncooked popcoorn (ORVILLE REDENBACHER'S LOW FAT or Jolly Time Healthy Pop Kettle Corn) to your stuffing. Mix well.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brush turkey well with melted butter, salt and pepper to taste. Fill cavity with stuffing and popcorn. Place in baking pan with the neck end toward the back of the oven. Listen for the popping sounds.

When the turkey's butt blows the oven door open and the bird flies across the room, it's done.

Oliver are you kidding me, I did not know you were a chef. I knew this was coming. Remember to add some of your kibble to the stuffing.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and Annie. By the way Is Annie going to do the dishes after your feast?

I assume Oliver is cooking up the turkey this year for his mom and dad?

Dear Oliver,

You forgot to add some garlic. Actually, for that size turkey you're cooking seen in that picture, I would highly recommend about 12 minced cloves of garlic mixed in with the butter and seasonings and then shmeared all around and inside of your turkey.

Bon Appetit

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

:ROFL Oliver, you always make us laugh! In our household we are fans of the food network. I think Oliver should get his own show. I'd vote for Oliver to be the next food network star and Annie could be his sous chef!!! Thanks Cindy...you're one of a kind!!
