I am such a bad Mommy. Molly got matted under her right front leg. So we did some grooming and bathing tonight. Lexi's hair does not grow as fast as Molly's. I only wanted to do her face. She let me do a little of it. Grooming is not as easy as it looks. Poor Molly looks like a 5 year old groomed her. But, the matts are gone and she is clean.

Lexi enjoying watching Molly run around trying to dry herself.

Both girls are adorable and cute :hp . Charlie also runs around after a bath, he gets so excited, it's very funny to watch.

Donna, Scooby, my latest boy apparently didn't get groomed much in his former home because he is really bad about it. I did the clipping today , his tummy was so matted because he can not stand to be brushed. I finally decided that it really didn't matter if he or the others were perfect. Doing all four with baths and grooming is a full day or two project for me and afterward my back is killing me so on those days I usually take a shower and get in bed.

Isn't it amazing how they hate the bath but go crazy afterwards? LOL! Mine hide and bath time but then have a ball afterward. Silly dogs!!

Those pictures are so cute Donna. :love
That first picture looks like Lexi is laughing since Molly was the one getting the "treatment".
Be sure and take a picture of Molly on Lexi's spa day. :lol2
Both of your girls are beautiful. Must have been 1 talented 5 year old that did that grooming. :gig
Thanks for sharing,
Vicki

All clean and gorgeous!

Ava is the absolute worse when it comes to a bath. I almost have to tie her down to keep her in the tub. We won't even talk about trying to wash and rinse her face. I swear if I didn't love her, I'd drown her (okay maybe not). Abby is a bit better, but not by much

It is amazing how different they are. Molly gave me kisses the entire time I was grooming her. She hated it but loved on me. She hated the bath. I had a hard time keeping her in the water. Lexi on the other hand will not let me get near her with the clippers. I cant chase her face fast enough to trim her face. But, she jumps in the tub to have her bath. She jumps in the tub with my 5 year old when she is taking a bath. She will even jump in the shower with me. Luckily Lexi's hair does not grow very fast. She was so abused and neglected for the 5/6 years before I rescued her. So, it will take her some time before she adjusts to being groomed. :hp

Great pictures. Nothing like a freshly bathed cocker. I just bathed Ozzie tonight & my daughter has to get in the tub with him to stop him jumping out, then he gets the mega zoomies the minute I open the bathroom door.
