We haven't been on in a long while, just a little update on Haylee
I was just informed by my vet that her kidney failure is progressing, we are going to do sub-q fluids daily now, but watching her you would never know

Syliva,

So sorry to hear about Haylee. :cry

I do know that you are giving her the best of care with your loving hands.

The "Island" must be crying with the loss of little Cricket and now the news that Haylee Bug is not doing well.

Thanks for the update. SubQ fluids are a manageable treatment and it is amazing how much they help.

My best wishes to Haylee and you. She's so adorable and I've admired all the pics of the bug over the last 3 years.

Sylvia, that is a very precious picture of Haylee. I have been thinking about her recently and wondering how she is doing. I am so very sorry to hear about her kidney situation, very sorry. I had a little doggie that had to have sub-q fluids and while that is an expensive procedure, it's very effective. Sylvia, I remember the day that we brought Haylee up to you and she immediately went to you and loved you and you put her into your golf cart and off you went up the road to show Haylee her new home. Haylee has been so blessed to have you as her very loving mommie. Our little girls have been through so much with their eye conditions; Reese still sees Dr. Schmidt, her vet ophthalmologist every six weeks for the tear and pressure check and also as needed. I'll be praying for Haylee and for you are you take care of her. :love

With love and hugs,
Gail and Reese :hp :paw :hp

Hi Sylvia

We went through the Kidney Failure journey with 2 of our pets.
We administered the fluids as well and BOTH were with us for a long time more.
Actually years more ...
So, good luck with sweet Haylee - we are all holding good thoughts over here.

:)
