Such Sad News to share

It is with a heavy heart that I have to tell you that my sweet Cricket made her journey to the Rainbow Bridge on March 29. Many of you know her story, she was one of the Rosenburg 32. Educated guess, she was about 10 years old. For the last 5 years and 2 months, she was my baby. She was truly the sweetest, prettiest little cocker girl ever! (Parti girl in my arms in my avatar)

Cricket happily welcomed Sophie, who was very much a "wild child" and not quite a year old, in October of 2015. For 18 months they got to be "best sissies" racing all around the house and yard, playing continually. The house is so quiet now... Sophie misses her terribly too.

:cry I'm so sorry to read this. I was hoping to see Cricket again at cocker nationals in 2018. You were a very special person to take her in. She knew you were her person. There will be a special place at The Bridge for a Rosenburg 32 survivor.

With deepest, deepest sympathies,

Colleen K

Chris,

You know... that I am so very sorry. :cry I loved sweet little Cricket as much as one could without being her owner. :cry Absolutely, she was the sweetest, kindest, lovable little Cocker Spaniel that I have ever met. She even sweetly put up with the "personality" of our Chloie Pearl.

Words just can not express how much I feel for you and your untimely loss of little Cricket. :cry

:luv

Dawn :paw

There isn't one day that goes by that I don't think of her loss. Take care.... :love

You know that I am a firm believer in Post Cards. Watch for them....they will come just to let you know that she is OK! :hp

Sorry for your loss. RIP Cricket. May you run free and easy over the Rainbow Bridge.

Cricket know that you gave her the best life.

May she find our Abby and Calvin and run free and easy.

Chris,

I am so so sorry for your loss of Cricket. Since I only joined the forum last year(?), I wasn't familiar with your story. I googled Rosenberg 32 and read the horrible heart wrenching story of all those poor cockers. I tried to watch a video, but I couldn't watch too much, that sort of thing upsets me so much.

I am now in tears because of that story and also because of your loss.

Bless you for rescuing Cricket and giving her a loving home. I hope the other rescued dogs were as lucky as Cricket. She was a beautiful dog and I know she'll be missed by you and Sophie. Don't know what else to say but sending you hugs.

Melissa

Oh Chris, I am heartbroken for you. I will never forget the support and encouragement I got from you when I was learning how to raise my first ever puppy. You and Tina helped me through many new Mom panics and I am so grateful.

May your beautiful Cricket run free with all the special Cockers who have gone before. And may your heart heal with help from your little Sophie.

Sending you comfort...

Susan

Dear Chris, Your little Cricket was such a beautiful little girl and I'm so glad that we were able to spend time together at Sylvia's Pupalooza several years ago with you and Cricket. I'm so, so sorry to learn of Cricket's moving on to the Rainbow Bridge. Chris I remember you so lovingly cared for little Cricket and shared how you had a choice of a doggie from the Rosenberg group and you selected Cricket. You have our deepest sympathies and prayers. I know it is so painful to lose a precious little Cocker. You were a beautiful mama to Cricket. God Bless :hp

Chris I am so sorry. I have not been in the forum for a while. Cricket was such an addition to your household. You gave her a ne life and perspective by rescuing her. I just remember when you got her. I still not get another after Holly. I do take care of Mollie more on than off a black and tan Cocker. Hope time heals you missing her and give you new life with your new girl.
