:hi Any Southern California Cockers (AKC registered) want to come play at a REAL dog show??? It is only for cockers (so don't spread the word to your non-cocker canine friends). And you don't have to do the fancy grooming conformation classes, you can do the fun classes in rally and obedience! (Ok, obedience isn't always fun, but hang with me on this). Can you do the following things on-lead?
Walk close to your handler
    Turn left
    Turn right
    Sit
    Down
Stay (for only the length of time it takes your handler to walk around you -- like 3 seconds)
    Recall/Come front
    Finish to heel position

Sound familiar? These are the things that you do in basic obedience classes! The class you should enter is Novice Rally. Your handler can talk to you and give as many commands as needed.

Mom is available to work with anyone who wants to enter the West Coast Cocker Spaniel Club's show. Show is THURSDAY, May 25, 2017 at LA County Fairplex in Pomona. But she believes any dog that has completed a basic obedience class should have the skills needed to do Rally Novice exercises. And if you were very good in your basic obedience class you can also do the Beginner Novice Obedience class (most exercises on leash).

So join me!

I'm Gotham, and I'm on the Go :run

Oh Gotham! I would consuder myself very lucky if I could be there with even one of my doggies to work with your mom!

That all sounds very exciting. I have missed the Solo reports so I'm very glad you are writing updates now. You have big pawprints to fill you know.
