She had her surgery Thurs morning and was back home with us by 600PM. Took her out to pee on a leash, leg all naked from being shaved, looked pretty forlorn, next morning like a true foodie Cocker, she ate her breakfast without hesitation. She is on strict crate rest for the next four weeks, then slowly will do passive range of motion and very gradual walking. She gets a rimadyl in the morning and one in the evening, both with food. Doing well I think, doesn't want to miss out on any treats, she has daddy trained to bring her the treat :gig I am starting to get the look from her of, "and just why am I in this stupid crate?" I am relieved the surgery is over!

Congratulations on the successful surgery and glad she's in good spirits. I didn't have to go through the surgery, but did the crate rest and i can appreciate the challenge that lies ahead. I got lots of those looks and even a chewed up zipper on the crate when we left the house for an hour.

I hope the month goes by fast for all of you!

Glad the surgery went well! Now the hard part... keeping her still. My best to you and Joslyn!

Glad all went well! Hope the recovery goes just as well. I don't think I could handle the looks mine would give me if he had to stay in a crate.
