We wanted to stop in and share this link for the most wonderful dog coats we've ever bought (no affiliation other than being a happy customer). These are heavy weight fleece for our cold New England winters. They are quick and easy to put on and remove, fit well, and wash and dry easily. Oliver has two of these coats from two years ago that have had a lot of use and still look like new ... and we just ordered and received two more. These coats are regularly $42.95 and are on close-out for just $9.99 each! Oliver is a "chunky monkey" at about 33-34 pounds -- the large fits him very well. http://www.doversaddlery.com/riders-international-fleece-dog-blanket/p/RB-24546TS/

Thank you so much Cindy - and Oliver too. After successful back surgery I'm getting ready to start walking Muffy and Momo but it's been pretty chilly here for a couple of spoiled house puppers. Was just thinking earlier this evening about getting them coats and like magic you provided the answer. Nothing beats a good recommendation and a wonderful sale price too.

They look like really nice coats, and I like that they don't appear to rub under the armpits, which would cause mats. But it's still 85 here in Florida, so I think Gromit can survive the winter without one :wink

Hi Karen! I'm glad to hear that you are doing so well after back surgery that you're ready to get out and about with the pups. This was one of those times that the deal was so good that I wanted to share with others. I know I've appreciated it when others have shared wonderful finds with us.

You're right ... these coats don't rub like so many of the others we've tried. I would love your 85 degree weather!!! (((Hugs))) to Gromit!
