Talking to breeders yesterday. Not many puppies around. Bad time of year I guess. It gets so confusing. They have been helpful and tell me who to call but really nothing in this area. There are two from Saydee's grandfathers breeder but she can not decide whether to keep both for show or just one. I may just give up on her. Still so very sad.

Hi. Did you check on facebook? There is a page for pups. American cocker spaniel puppies and adults for sale. All kinds of puppies there. Sorry for your loss. I hope you find your special little guy or girl soon. I know it helped me to get a new puppy.

And they are beautiful. :love

It almost seems meant to be that they are in Ohio, too. If you were to fall in love with one of them, you could consider naming her Kismet, Karma, Destiny or Moira. :gig

In the meantime, try to think if there is anything that you have wanted to do but didn't due to being a good doggie mama. Or maybe something you used to do but stopped while you had a dog. When I was waiting for Jennie, I made a list of all the things I wanted to get done before she came. In those 6 weeks, I took my mom on a short trip, painted the dining room, refinished a dresser and rearranged the furniture in practically the whole house. I also made a shadow box with pictures and mementos of Honey. It was hard, but it helped me to focus on the good times we had and not on the end.

One of my friends lost her Greyhound Kylie a few months ago and she had all the carpets in the house cleaned while she looked for a new one. She has since adopted Duncan, a retired racer and they have a nice clean house to enjoy together.

Honey was a rescue and I'd never raised a puppy before, so I read as much as I could find about raising a Cocker Spaniel puppy. I know you have raised puppies, but perhaps you would want to check your puppy supplies to be sure you have everything you need... puppy-size collars and leashes, baby-crates, ex-pens, etc.

We're pulling for you and will continue to send you lots of positive energy.

So looks like someone got upset and removed a post of mine. Go to INFODOG for their listing of all dog shows in your state of OHIO.
