I would like to add my condolences on your loss.

Solo.......... I will miss your reporting, but I know you will be so busy playing with all those already at the bridge.

Know you will always be in our hearts. I will hang my wind chimes so as to hear the joy from the bridge on the wind.

Colleen in Alberta

Today I went on to the HonestDogArts.com website, and ordered a new t-shirt with Solo's image and agility equipment. As I mentioned, I wear the old one every time we compete - it's become my good luck charm through the years. So now, Solo will continue to run agility again, every time Gromit and I compete! And if we're not successful on any given day, I'll just look to the heavens and know that the Butthead Club must be having a meeting :lol

Funny how a dog you've never met can touch your heart so much! :love

My prayers to you Colleen, I can't imagine losing two furrbabies so close together.

What a wonderful idea Darra. :hp I just can't believe he is gone so fast, he really was one of the special ones. I hope he's keeping Henry in line up there, a member of the Butthead Club if there ever was one! :cry

Colleen, I am so so very sorry for your loss! There are no words for losing a beloved family member so suddenly! :hp
We lost our first two girls two days apart and then we lost Dusty & Rocky just months apart. I empathize with your pain at losing your babies so close together.

Thinking of you & sending HUGS!!

Colleen,

I am so sorry for your loss. I am glad I got to meet you and Solo last year at nationals. I did not get to meet Rosie but did see her in the parade of rescues. It is so hard to lose one and I can only imagine how hard it is to lose two. I pray for comfort and peace for you.

Today I received the t-shirt with Solo's image that I ordered after I heard that he passed. I love it, and will wear it with pride when Gromit and I compete. I hope that Solo will send us good luck, and not invite Gromit for membership in the Butthead club!

The "new" people of the forum might not get it but there are the few, the special, that were "forum dogs". Those of us that knew those dogs still speak of them as if here (because they are still with us) and mourn them as a community loss. Those names, Rosey, Deedee (both of them), Maxine, Isabel, Solo, and so many others live on in the pages of this forum. Forever they will ride the wind of the Internet and, one hundred years from now, their memories will live on.

I don't post much on the forum. Mostly I just lurk from time to time. But Vicki is right, there are several of us that seen our pups grow up on the forum, and sadly cross over the Rainbow Bridge. I consider my friends from the forum some of my closest friends today. We do mourn as a community.

It is hard to fathom both Rosey and Solo absence. I am glad I got to see them in action at Nationals a few years back.

Solo.....tell Eli to behave himself.....tell him I miss him.

Hugs

:hp :love :hp

RIP - Solo. May you run free and easy over the rainbow bridge.

Please see our Abby that went over the Bridge last April 14th.

So sorry for your lost. I planed a dogwood tree for our last cocker. It came from one of my seeds I collected on her last year of life. It turned out to be one in a million as it turned out to be a red dogwood.
