Someone here thought it would be cute to use white bedding with navy blue, if you have an old sheet could you bring it to throw on the bed so your dogs can get on the beds, normally they don't rent to people with dogs, we are the exception with cockers, I hope this does not offend anyone, people who don't have dogs don't understand our cockers are not dogs they are our fur kids
Thanks
Sylvia, if you don't have one I can probably find one or two at my house

Sylvia,
You beat me to it, as I was going to suggest that everyone bring a sheet to help keep the cabin bedding clean.
We make it a point to always travel with an extra sheet just for that purpose.
In fact, we have a sheet covering the bed comforter at home as well.

Another suggestion for those traveling with your pups.
When traveling, I always bring 1-2 gallons of our house water or distilled water to use for drinking water for my dogs. Sometimes a change in the water can upset a dog's tummy, and cause diarrhea.
So, remember to bring water for your pups!
Better to be safe than sorry!

Another thing to remember:
Bring a proof of your dog's rabies vaccination.

See you soon!

:hi

Although we are not saying in one of Sylvia's cabins, we always travel with a cover for our bed in the RV. Even though the comforter is cotton, dark in color and very washable. We usually use an old blanket as I think that it sticks to the bed better. However, if it is warm we, also have sheets as covers.

Sylvia, I am sure that no one will be offended. Own a Cocker Spaniel equals own a Baby. We care for our pups and we care for others with pups just like ours. After all, for most of them, they do have fluffy paws. :gig

Marianne, your idea about the water is a very important one. :th-up We always carry water from home or bottled for us and our pups. Helps keep the tummy working properly, if you know what I mean! :evil

Great reminders, all.
I always carry water for Cricket and her small stainless steel bowl- she has been known to flat refuse to drink "unknown" water. I don't want to have a dog sick with heat exhaustion and/or dehydration!
I also have made it a habit for many years now to have copies of my dogs' rabies certificates that stay in my car. I've long ago lost count of how many times I've had to show them to get into a county, state or national park or campground.

I take a photo of Sophie's shot record and have it stored on my phone since I always carry that. Now to find it on my phone, another story...... :goof

Sylvia, we just appreciate that you're letting us bring dogs, so we totally understand your request. Poppy isn't up on the bed because she's in the crate due to her back, but I will still bring something just in case I want to treat myself with a rare snuggle in the bed with Poppy. I so miss my snuggling with her but its too dangerous unless I have her leashed and harnessed, in case she wants to jump off.

Will we need the rabies vaccine proof to show at your resort Sylvia? That's a good idea Patty, to keep it in my phone!
