So, my cocker Tobi is a service animal. He is a PSA. He tends to go most places with me, and I always hear "What an unusual breed for a service dog." Or "He's so friendly, mine were always so mean."
Are service spaniels really that rare? :/ I have never seen another.

Hi! I'm not terribly familiar with the types of service animals. What is a PSA? What work does Tobi do for you? I live in the Pacific Northwest very close to a Guide Dogs for the Blind training facility so have seen a large number of Lab/Golden types working and know of one German Shepherd being trained for blood sugar detection but have never seen a smallish dog working before. I'm also curious about how you trained Tobi. Did you do the work yourself or did you receive him trained from an organization?
