Hi! If any one can help us, we would be very appreciative. We currently have two male cocker spaniels ages 5 and four and a half. We just brought into our house an eight wk. old male cocker puppy. Both of our dogs, Dudley & Cody tend to run away from this puppy. We are trying to socialize the new puppy with them. However, Dudley & Cody appear to be frightened when the puppy approaches them. The new puppy has been in our home for only three days. Can anyone assist us with this problem? Aprompt response would be great! thanks.

I had the same promblem when I brought my puppy home.Holly was 5 1/2 when I got Hunter and scared to death of him.I didn't force the issue. It took her a couple of weeks to relax enough to lay on the floor when he was around. After a few months they would sleep side by side or in the same crate.Play with them all and when you can walk them together.Good luck.
