We drove almost 3 hours each way in order to try and get this Grand Prix Q but it was not meant to be. We were supposed to start at 6 p.m. (first dog on line) but the judge arrive over 2 hours late! :OMY He flew into JFK and then took a limo to Hamden, CT. During rush hour? NYC? What was he thinking? :dk

We were the last dog in Speed Jumping and had one error but compared to most people we did well. There were off courses all over the place at the very beginning of the runs. At least we waited until almost the end.

Here is that run:

The second run was the Grand Prix run. We were the last dog of the night, after 10 p.m. Too much waiting! The course looked okay but, plop! I fell down and never quite recovered. My knees are still all scraped, but the worst was my neck, shoulder and arms! I still tried to finish but after a wrong course at the end, when Star ran to the see saw instead of taking a jump I gave up.

Here that run:

Oh man, Sylvia, that was a rough fall on that last run! I'm sure I wouldn't have been able to finish with having the wind knocked out of me. :dk

I think you're a winner all the time whenever you have a run with Star. :Clap

Maybe about his attire. Was the judge really wearing a skirt :dk ?

The fall looked nasty. Hope you are feeling better soon.

Yup, I think that is his trade mark. People who knew him predicted the skirt. I'm still recovering from that fall. I had a nice massage on Sunday and she helped to straighten out my neck!
