Hi All,
Yesterday Mom was feeling good so she took us to a NADAC agility trial. This trial accepts day-of-show entries and we had friends attending so we could share their set-up.
Rosey q'd in her first time in Elite standard and got a second placement. She nq'd in her second standard run because of Mom's lack of front cross ability and then
Rosey thought that 10 weaves poles were enough if you couldn't q anyway

.
Rose q'd in Open jumpers and got first place.
Now I did better than my 1 for 3 record suggests. I q'd in Open jumpers (16") and got second place. I would have q'd in my first open standard run, but Mom made me redo the dog walk because I didn't stop at the end (I hit the contact zone!). But since our instructor was watching and Mom knew she had better make me repeat. I didn't q in my second standard run either (missed a discrimination) and Mom made me re-do the AFrame because I didn't stick my contact.
Despite my record, my obedience and sometime agility instructor said I looked good and was working better than
Little-Miss-Perfect-Rosey. Mom was happy because I didn't drop any bars and I was competing in the 16" class.
I don't know the next time I get to do something with Mom

; she is taking just
Rosey to an AKC trial in 2 weeks. She said that
if I keep working hard in class and
if she doesn't get really bad fatigue from the radiation and
if we have friends at trials that let us share their set-ups then
"maybe" I can go to a trial in December

.
Not a butthead this week,

Solo
