:hi Hi All,
Yesterday Mom was feeling good so she took us to a NADAC agility trial. This trial accepts day-of-show entries and we had friends attending so we could share their set-up. Rosey q'd in her first time in Elite standard and got a second placement. She nq'd in her second standard run because of Mom's lack of front cross ability and then Rosey thought that 10 weaves poles were enough if you couldn't q anyway :raz . Rose q'd in Open jumpers and got first place.

Now I did better than my 1 for 3 record suggests. I q'd in Open jumpers (16") and got second place. I would have q'd in my first open standard run, but Mom made me redo the dog walk because I didn't stop at the end (I hit the contact zone!). But since our instructor was watching and Mom knew she had better make me repeat. I didn't q in my second standard run either (missed a discrimination) and Mom made me re-do the AFrame because I didn't stick my contact.

Despite my record, my obedience and sometime agility instructor said I looked good and was working better than Little-Miss-Perfect-Rosey. Mom was happy because I didn't drop any bars and I was competing in the 16" class.

I don't know the next time I get to do something with Mom :dk ; she is taking just Rosey to an AKC trial in 2 weeks. She said that if I keep working hard in class and if she doesn't get really bad fatigue from the radiation and if we have friends at trials that let us share their set-ups then "maybe" I can go to a trial in December :Clap .

Not a butthead this week,
:cool Solo

Wow, congratulations to the three of you! :Clap :Clap :Clap

Solo, I hope all those IFs work in you favor. If not, we hope to see you in January. Time flies so it will be here faster than we think.

You'll definitely see me in January. If Mom doesn't have enough energy to run both Rosey and I in the Excellent Class, she is going to put me in Novice Preferred. Hey -- this means Star :love and I will be in the same class but we won't be competing against each other since my score is for 16" dogs running in the lower height class.

Oh, and Little-Ms. Perfect-Rosey bets that I can't bet Star's time.

Big Sis Rosey is probably right, unless you are a speed demon. Little Star flies and I can't keep up for sure, thank goodness for distance work. :wnk
