Max's vet practices TCVM in addition to western medicine and I'm struggling to understand. The one resource I've found online seems to be a text book and i can only access the first chapter. It's a little over my head. Does anyone have any good books or websites to explain TCVM in non-doctor terms? I want to understand the treatments and theories Max's vet is talking about since I trust her judgement, I just don't quite get this facet of treatment. Thanks in advance!

I've not heard of, nor had any experience with this method. :dk

Thanks Leanne, I checked this out. I also was recommended a book called "Four Paws, Five Directions" by Cheryl Schwartz that I'm going to see if the library can get. Hopefully I'll be able to understand what the vet means without asking for explanation for everything during the vet visit and can make good decisions for Max.

I was introduced to some of these concepts a week ago when Rosey and Solo received massages from a DVM trained in Chinese massage. Dogs certainly enjoyed the massages.
