I have been working on a dime size wart on my dog's left hip as it gets irritated by laying on it. I pulled the band aids off tonight to check it out and add more stuff to it. It did bleed the first of the week as I think the stuff being used caused the infection to bleed. It looks like it melted away as I'm working a second small one feels like a dried scab. :joy This about two weeks on the large about a week on the small one. Treated more tonight.

It's not pretty on a buff dog.

I'm working on more will report back.

Joe

I'll PM you after Oliver's next bath. Looks like we melted two on his right hip, one was dime size got irritated as his sleeping on the rug and moves around.

I'll tell you this the only band aid that sticks to the dog fur is the Johnson and Johnson flexible fabric to keep the stuff in one place.

Costco carries box of 100 over the counter in the pharmacy 1 x 3 inch under 7.00 dollars.

One vet said if it's small enough freeze it with wart stuff, didn't work on his leg. It grew to double bubble gum size, huge. I treated one on center of his head with DE Earth but it would get into his eyes. Didn't try the band aids back then. Need to use latex gloves or it will dry out your hands as you rub it in.

Then as it dried out I cut it off. It turned out as a dried white thing. Just cut one off his right ear with the clipper last month bled for a while. Hasn't grown back yet. Treating his left hip now. Haven't really inspected his right hip but feels good from dime size. It' not fast takes months. At lease it doesn't bleed any more from rubbing on the carpet.

Thanks for the info. I will keep it in mind. Not so sure I want to be cutting on my girl though. I was hoping it was a magical potion that made the wart fall off.

Good info on the band-aids!

He started to get one on his head near his ear fold( about an 1/2 inch to an inch in on his head) where I would rub it, me not wanting to inflame it. Well I tried my treatment it's gone in three weeks. It swelled up on his head the size of a quarter, kind popped it like a zit. Today no signs. The extra large ones looking better. Need to dry out those roots or what ever is the problem.

The band aids keep the DE Earth out of his eyes.
