My poor dog was so stressed out yesterday, his breathing sounded like a steam engine, his tongue was so wide like we just finished a long walk. Then taking his blood pressure. What I do know this isn't a way to test him and with his CUSHINGS.

One more last time we will have another ultrasound test done to see if any good or bad changes in his internals. ESP his gallbladder and liver.

I hope no other dog owner has to go through this.

This as we doubled his blood pressure meds, from one pill a day to two every 12 hours. She wanted to split a small pill in half to make one, and a half every 12 hours. The Pill won't split in half as it shatters. I changed it to two.

Started out two pills a day now we are up to 6 pills a day, this won't help either as the CUSHINGS stress is to much. If it's not down we are going to have a talk.

Sorry to hear Oliver is not feeling great. I hope you can find a way to manage his cushings and blood pressure. Did the doctor say you should go up to 6 pills a day or is this something you are trying on your own?

She wanted to do one and a half every 12 hours. So I tried to split one and it turned into powder, so I did two instead. Now with two every 12 hours for 6 days went back to the vets and his pressure hasn't dropped. So she said do 3 every 12 hours. I can tell you it's not working either.

Kind of funny she wanted to go slowly then jump up to three every 12 hours.

Don't know what is causing all this panting, he is a house dog not a very active cocker at all. He not you average active cocker. When I left grandpa's house in the car in 200 feet he started panting coming home. The car was cold and it was still raining on the way home. Had the windows down some. When he got into the cold house it stopped. Had the furnace unplugged and it was 53 inside.

We are off to the vets today to get another ultrasound on all his organs to see if there's any changes with his gallbladder. Working on his really low fat special dog food kibble this is why they don't think he has CUSHINGS as he should eat anything in sight.

Wish we could go outside an walk again, but this drought busting rain is making us homesick, as he would turn into a mud ball. :wnk

Going to ask for a cd or photos this time.

I do think they are experimenting on him.

His blood enzymes readings had dropped, that is good but still high.

Good news the liver looking better and smaller, gallbladder looking better but not normal, I don't recall being told about the first one, now he has two growths on the spleen, Splenic hematoma, looks non cancerous.
