Scoot...Scoot. I just don't understand why she keeps scooting.

Is it normal for a dog to scoot occasionally? She doesn't do it all day, but when she does, she's a maniac. Sometimes, she wakes up and scoots for a minute and she's done.

Her glands were expressed 2-3 weeks ago at the vet. She gets probiotics in her food. She does not chew her paws so I can't believe it's a yeast problem. She gets D Earth everyday.

If the glands are not infected and have been emptied, why does she scoot? :dk

Oliver only scoots at Grand pa's. Why? Must be something in the house.

Jennie will scoot occasionally after she poops. When it first happened, I discovered a little bit of poop was stuck in her fur and she was trying to wipe it off. I make sure to keep her clipped short in that area and I check her before letting her in the house and take care of anything there before she gets near the carpet. Its easy for me with a little buff girl. Might be harder to spot with your beautiful, black Cici. But it's worth checking!

Thanks, Joe, Susan.

Believe me, I take care of that behind like it's a polished diamond :ROFL and check it often for cleanliness. I've even applied coconut oil thinking it might be dry skin. Who knows...

My hubby jokes that I am her Lady's maid a la Downton Abbey.

When I am just about getting out of bed in the morning, she will scratch her face, shake and even scoot - makes me think she's just being demanding and wants to be fed, taken out right away. All night, she is peaceful, not a move. After I wake up and she knows I am gonna get to her stuff, she's quiet.

She's a nut. :goof

Oliver scooted on the bed this early AM, he did it twice. What I found out, he was to lazy to get up and poop! Don't know if he passed some gas.
That's my boy.
