My buddy Max has been sneezing.... Nose watering. A slight wheeze though chest sounds clear. Any specific treatment I should try. He has been moping a bit and pasting himself up against me when I lie in bed. Is drinking, has a good appetite and no vomiting or diarrhea.

Thanks.

More likely it is allergies. Mine has the same symptoms. I give them half a pill of benadryl. Good luck.

I agree with Marcia. My vet has prescribed 1/2 of a 25 mg Benedryl for Jennie twice per day. I give her one in the morning as soon as she has had something to eat and then one in the evening. It's helped a lot with her runny, goopy eyes.

We bring so many different things into our homes at the holidays. You might consider if you have added something that Max may be allergic to... scented candles, flower arrangements, fresh herbs, perfumes or colognes. All can trigger a seasonal allergy reaction in our pets and ourselves. After years of being sick over Christmas, I have switched to an artificial tree because I found that a natural tree eventually developed some mold which caused a big allergic reaction.

Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving and Max enjoyed a little turkey with you. :bg

You haven't boarded him recently, have you? If so, it could be more than allergies.
