Sunny had his first play date at the San Diego Cocker Rescue Feb. meet-up.
These are some of his 'foodie' friends. (he is the big one in back).

What. Beautiful shot. All of them quite attentive and behaving. Great experience and socialization.

Was this meet up from the SD meet up group? Or specifically the rescue group?

I joined the SD meet up group and noticed they have alot of members.
But, the LA group only has a handful. I'd love to find more Cocker owners up here.

But... one day I went to the park and someone had 4 other Cockers with her.
It was so fun letting Arlo meet them.

I love the little bandana's - are the they ones that say Adopt Me?
I know of some groups that have those and it is a great way for people in the doggie parks to learn of them and consider adopting.

:)

Hi Leigh~~Yes this is the San Diego group. Sunny came from Orange County, not SD, but the folks don't care. There were a couple of other breeds who came with their Cocker sisters.

The bandanas we got this time were Valentine's Day ones. The pink harnesses you see were for the therapy dogs.

There were about 25-30 dogs there. :wow
Sunny was running around like crazy. I had to make him stop for a minute. He has a heart murmur. It was alot of fun, and I already signed up for the March one.

Thank you. :sml
Yes it was so good for him...He has a tendency to bark aggressively on walks, so I was nervous. He did fine---happy barking, but he socialized very well.

I bet you met Gap, she is the Cocker in charge of the dog park. Gap belongs to Mary, who is a foster for SDSR. Mary fostered Radar before we adopted him. I wish our family could have gone to a meet up with SDSR but we are already back in Virginia :)
